Overview
Practical Magic is a 1998 American fantasy romantic drama film based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Alice Hoffman. The film tells the story of two sisters, Sally and Gillian Owens, who are born into a magical family but have mostly avoided witchcraft themselves. However, when Gillian's vicious boyfriend Jimmy Angelov dies, the sisters must use their magic to protect themselves and their loved ones.
